DuckStation has a user interface using [[Software:Qt|Qt]], as well as a full-screen interface usable with a gamepad.

Rendering can be either hardware (D3D11, D3D12 , [[Software:OpenGL|OpenGL]] , [[Software:Vulkan|Vulkan]] ) or [[HandWiki:Software|software]].

Its improvements include the increase of the internal resolution, the scaling , or the texture filtering.
