The '''IEEE Simon Ramo Medal''' is an award for exceptional achievement in [[Engineering:Systems engineering|systems engineering]] and [[Systems science|systems science]], and was established by the IEEE Board of Directors in 1982. The medal is named for [[Biography:Simon Ramo|Simon Ramo]], one of the founders of the [[Company:TRW Inc.|TRW]] corporation. The award itself consists of a gold medal, bronze replica, certificate and honorarium.
