'''ISO 3166-2:MV''' is the entry for [[History:Maldives|Maldives]] in [[ISO 3166-2]], part of the [[ISO 3166]] standard published by the [[Organization:International Organization for Standardization|International Organization for Standardization]] (ISO), which defines [[Code|code]]s for the names of the principal subdivisions (e.g., provinces or states) of all countries coded in [[ISO 3166-1]].

Currently for Maldives, ISO 3166-2 codes are defined for two cities and 19 administrative atolls.

Each code consists of two parts, separated by a hyphen. The first part is {{mono|MV}}, the [[ISO 3166-1 alpha-2]] code of Maldives. The second part is one of the following:
* three letters: [[Place:Malé|Malé]]
* two digits: Addu City and administrative atolls
