==Synthesis==
Anhydrous iron(III) pyrophosphate can be prepared by heating the mixture of iron(III) metaphosphate and [[Chemistry:Iron(III) phosphate|iron(III) phosphate]] under [[Chemistry:Oxygen|oxygen]] with the stoichiometric ratio 1:3.
