'''Turdinae''' (the '''turdine thrushes''') are a subfamily of [[Biology:Passerine|passerine]] [[Biology:Bird|bird]]s in the family [[Biology:Thrush (bird)|Turdidae]]. They are the sister clade to the subfamily [[Biology:Myadestinae|Myadestinae]]. The divergence between myadestines and turdines occurred 11 million years ago in the [[Earth:Serravallian|Serravallian]].
