''Lepiderema pulchella'' is a tree that typically grows to a height of {{cvt|15|m}} and is mostly glabrous. The leaves are pinnate, {{cvt|70–150|mm}} long on a [[Biology:Petiole (botany)|petiole]] {{cvt|15–25|mm}} long with four to fourteen leaflets, the leaflets narrow elliptic to lance-shaped, more or less curved, {{cvt|25–80|mm}} long, {{cvt|10–25|mm}} wide and with wavy edges. The flowers are arranged in panicles {{cvt|55–120|mm}} long in leaf axils, each flower on a [[Biology:Pedicel (botany)|pedicel]] {{cvt|2–3.5|mm}} long. The flowers are yellow-orange and {{cvt|2–3|mm}} long, the [[Biology:Sepal|sepal]]s {{cvt|1.5–3.5|mm}} long.
